     Evald Gilbert Sjöström, son of Otto Persson Sjöström and Gerda Maria Engström, was born on 3 August 1912 at Chicago, Cook, Illinois.1 According to a passenger list, Evald Gilbert Sjöström was listed as a relative traveling with his mother, Gerda Maria Engström, on 13 November 1919, departing Göteborg, Sverige; Gerda was listed as a housewife. She was described as 5' 4", fair complexion, brown hair and grey eyes. They arrived at the Port of New York, 29 Nov 1919.2
