     David, at age 21, son of Daniel Cain and Priscilla Stodder, married Tabitha Burrell at age 16, daughter of Stephen Burrell and Clarissa Dyer, on 31 January 1834.1

     David, at age 20, son of David Cain and Tabitha Burrell, married Betsey Maxim at age 19 on 12 November 1857 at Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.2

     David died at age 82, on 4 June 1919,3 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Manchester, Mendocino, California.3

     David and Betsey appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Arena, Mendocino, California, enumerated 10 June 1880. David was a farmer. Their children, Ella F. and Ada were listed as living with them.6

     David and Betsey appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Arena, Mendocino, California, enumerated, 2 June 1900. David was listed as a merchant. Their daughter, Ada was listed as living with them.7

     David and Betsey appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Arena, Mendocino, California, at North Coast Road, enumerated 16 April 1910. David was listed as a farmer on a general farm. The census indicated Betsey had four children with two now living.8
