     Lettie M. Moody was born circa 1876 at Brighton, Somerset, Maine.2

     Lettie, married Charles H. Davis at age 23, son of Moody Davis and Hannah Jane Staples, on 29 July 1894 at Maine.1

     Lettie died on 19 April 1946, at Newport, Penobscot, Maine,2 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, Penobscot, Maine.3

MRS LETTIE M DAVIS

NEWPORT April 19— Mrs. Lettie Maud Davis, 71, died at her home Friday morning. She was born in Brighton, the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Thompson Moody. She attended schools in Harmony end Athens and in 1894 married Charles R. Davis. In 1906 the family moved to Plymouth where they resided until the death of her husband in 1940. For the past two years Mrs. Davjs had lived in Newport. She is survived by three daughters; Miss Alta E. and Helen E. Davis both of Newport, and Mrs. Victoria Small of Waterville; two sons Lyle M. of Plymouth, and Clarence L. of Palmyra; also several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Famum funeral home in Newport, on Monday afternoon at two o'clock the Rev. John Miller officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Riverside cemetery.2
