     William, son of John Fenderson Jr and Hannah Perry, married Sarah S. Scott circa 1852 Unknown GEDCOM info: ABT 1852.5

     William, son of John Fenderson Jr and Hannah Perry, married Achsah A. Smith, daughter of Daniel Smith Jr. and Hannah Cook, after 16 October 1853.6

     There were four civil war drafts that included 776,000 individuals in that time. The records contain class, congressional district, county, state, residence, name, age on July 1, 1863, race, profession, married status, birthplace, former military service, and remarks. William was listed on the Draft Log. At the time he was living at Marion, Washington, Maine. The month of registration was in June 1863. William, at the time, was listed as a millman.7

     William, at age 65, son of John Fenderson Jr and Hannah Perry, married Emma E. Ashby, daughter of Alfred Ashby and Maria Abraham, on 15 April 1894 at West Pembroke, Washington, Maine, by J. H. Woodworth.5,8

     William Penn Fenderson died on 4 August 1914 at Durham, Androscoggin, Maine, at age 85.4,9,10 and was buried at Shiloh Cemetery, Durham, Androscoggin, Maine.11

     William appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Marion, Washington, Maine, enumerated 13 September 1850. William, at 21, was in the household of Richard Dudley, working as a lumberman..12

     William and Achsah appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Dennysville, Washington, Maine, enumerated 9 June 1860. He was listed as a lumberman. They also had a Laura E. Drew, age 13, living with them. Their children, Willard Scott, Sarah and Harriet P. were listed as living with them.13

     William and Achsah appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Marion, Washington, Maine, enumerated 11 June 1870. William was working as a millman Their children, Willard Scott, Sarah J., Ella Foster, Howard Dudley and George H. were listed as living with them.14

     William appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Dennysville, Washington, Maine, enumerated, 4 June 1900. William was listed as a widower farmer. He had a boarder family in his home...15

     William Penn Fenderson appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Dennysville, Washington, Maine in the household of his son, George and and his wife, Annie. He was an agent in the fruit business.16
