     Elaine Dorothy Fenderson, daughter of Harold George Fenderson and Verna Mabel Anthony, was born on 9 April 1924 at Maine.1,2

     Elaine, at age 17, daughter of Harold George Fenderson and Verna Mabel Anthony, married Burrill B. Harris at age 23, son of Seymour Mariner Harris and Sarah Burrell, on 31 May 1941 at Pembroke, Washington, Maine.3

     Elaine Dorothy Fenderson died on 6 June 1986 at age 62.4 and was buried at Marston Cemetery, Orrington, Penobscot, Maine.4

ELAINE D HARRIS

WHITING and ORRINGTON — Elaine Dorothy Harris, 62, wife of Burrill B. Harris, died June 6, 1986 at a Bangor hospital alter a long illness. She was born in Dennysville April 9, 1924, the daughter of Harold and Verna (Anthony) Fenderson. She was a resident of Whiting for most of her life and had resided at Fairgrounds Apartments in Orrington for the last year. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Larry W. Harris of Orrington; a daughter Beverly A. Harris of Freeport; a granddaughter Virginia R. Cousins of Orrington; three brothers, Winton Fenderson of Newington, Conn., Harold Fenderson Jr. of Dennysville and Charles Fenderson of Sanford; three sisters, Hildegarde Preston of Dennysville, Rita Judkins of Hampton, NH and Marilyn Lyons of Dennysville; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Fenderson of Dennysville and Flossie Jollotta of Eastport; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harvey Fenderson. Friends may call 7-9 pm Saturday, at Gardiner Funeral Home, Machias, where funeral services will be held 1 pm Sunday. Burial will be in Marston Cemetery, Orrington. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the Elaine D. Harris Memorial Cancer-Tumor Fund, care of Hospital Development Foundation of Eastern Maine, 489 State St., Bangor, 04401.7
