     Hattie A. Folsom, daughter of Ezra P. Folsom and Betsy Blake, was born circa 1865 at Dover, Piscataquis, Maine.1

     Hattie, daughter of Ezra P. Folsom and Betsy Blake, married Charles S. Horne, son of Spencer Horn and Sally (Sarah) K. Longley, on 1 May 1919, at Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine. This was the 3rd. marriage for Charles and the 2nd for Hattie. They were united by Albert Oliver, Clergyman.3

     Caroline, married Joel L. Barrows, son of Jabez Barrows and Sarah (Sally) Davee, before 1860.1

     Caroline Folson died in 19261 and was buried at Dover Cemetery, Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.1

Ophelia Fortin1

     Ophelia Fortin was born in September 1875 at Canada.2,3,4

     Ophelia, married Frank L. Whitney, son of Capt. Elisha D. Whitney and Louise H. Emerson, circa 1897.1,5

     Ophelia Fortin was a cograntor with Capt. Walter E. Whitney in the sale of one dollar and other valuable consideration to Zora M. Whitney, John O. Whitney, Marcell E. Whitney and Floyd E. Whitney on 30 September 1922. A certain lot and parcel of land (containing seventy-five acres, more or less) with buildings thereon, situate in said Hampden on the Westerly side of the county road leading from Hampden Highlands to Winterport.. The deed was witnessed by an unknown person and proved.6

     Ophelia Fortin died in 19577 and was buried at Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden, Penobscot, Maine.8

     Ophelia and Frank appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Hampden, Penobscot, Maine, enumerated, 16 June 1900. He was working at sea.9

     Ophelia and Frank appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, enumerated 29 April 1910. Frank was listed as a Captain of a merchant vessel. They had one boarder in the home Their children, Walter E. were listed as living with them..10

     Ophelia appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, enumerated 16 January 1920. The census indicates Ophelia was widowed, owning her home, free of mortgage. It also shows she immigrated in 1883 and became a naturalized citizen in 1898. Her son, Walter E. was listed as living with her.11

     Ophelia appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, enumerated 30 April 1930. She now used the surname Chester, owned her home with a radio set in-house, was listed as a widow. There was a boarder, Mary Hennessey, age 72, in the home. Her son, Walter E., his wife, Orasie, and son, Lester and Louise were listed as living with her. Her grandchildren, Lester Frank and Louise O., with their parents were listed as living in the household.12
