     Galen Leslie Goodwin, son of Granville Dexter Goodwin and Nettie Estelle Burrill, was born on 23 August 1892 at Dedham, Hancock, Maine.1,2

     Galen, at age 23, son of Granville Dexter Goodwin and Nettie Estelle Burrill, married Ethel Rose Mayo at age 26 on 19 April 1916 at Maine.3

     Galen died at age 49, on 29 March 1942, at Eastern Maine General Hospital, Bangor, Penobscot, Maine. His cause of death was listed as acute nephritis following an appendectomy.4 He was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.4
