     Alice M. Ordway, daughter of George J. Ordway and Ella A. Farnham, was born in 1869.1

     George, at age 32, son of James Ordway and Mary (?), married Calista M. Palmer on 5 June 1873, at Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine.1,7

     George, at age 52, son of James Ordway and Mary (?), married Ida V. Pierce at age 26, on 21 June 1893, at Maine.8

     George died on 13 January 1926, at Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 84,9 and was buried at Jackman Corner Cemetery, Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine. Lot 87. George was a veteran in Co. I 22 ME Inf.10

     George J. Ordway was listed in the 1890 Veteran Census 20th Maine, 24 Sept 1862 an ended 14 Aug 1863 circa 1890 at Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine.12

     George and Ida appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 15 June 1900. George had listed his line of work as a farmer. Their daughter, Alice E. and Ida's children, David and Myrtie were listed as living with them..13

     George and Ida appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 29 April 1910. George listed his line of work as a farmer on a general farm. They were all living on the road to Dexter. Their children, Alice E. and James M. and Ida's children, David and Myrtie were listed as living with them.14
