On 12 December 1992, Hugh. In his letter he describes what he felt caused the fire at the Burrill home in Dedham. Hugh felt it was caused by a servant put some hot coals in a wododen barrel located in the barn. It wasn't long after they watch the fire burn the house to the ground. He recalls it to be the summer of 1931. He says later that fall, his uncles arranged for Ella to buy an old farm house in North Bucksport. Soon after, Ella, ill health, was moved to a Brewer Nursing Home. Soon thereafter, the house in North Bucksport burned to the ground. They believe it was caused by some boys smoking behind the barn.4
