     Alvin, at age 28, son of Ezakiel W. Maddocks and Elizabeth Saunders, married Mary Parker Dresser at age 32, daughter of Aaron Balch Dresser and Hannah P. Lawrence, on 17 October 1894 at Holden, Penobscot, Maine.2

     Alvin Perkins Maddocks died on 28 September 1919 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine, at age 53. He died from Interstitial nephritis (a kidney disorder in which the spaces between the kidney tubules become swollen (inflamed). The inflammation can affect the kidneys' function, including their ability to filter waste.)3 and was buried on 30 September 1919 at Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.4
