     Joseph Warren Chase Schoppe, son of Anthony Schoppe and Phebe Spear, was born on 16 July 1804 at Jonesboro, Washington, Maine.2

     Joseph, at age 30, son of Anthony Schoppe and Phebe Spear, married Mary Shorey Emerson at age 34, daughter of Eusebias Emerson, on 28 December 1834 at Jonesboro, Washington, Maine, After the passing of Ephraim, Mary married his brother, Joseph.1

     Joseph died at age 73, on 16 April 1878, at Jonesboro, Washington, Maine,1 and was buried at Roque Bluffs Cemetery, Roque Bluffs, Washington, Maine.1
