     Madeline and Bernard appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Dedham, Hancock, Maine, enumerated 11 May 1940. Bernard was working in the building trade as a carpenter. He owned his home valued at $600.00. Their children, Frances L. and David R. were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $16.26 in the year 2012. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2012 would have cost $.21 cents in 1940.4

     Annie, married Andrew Jackson Blackwood at age 40, son of James Blackwood Jr. and Susanna Cushing, on 16 December 1866 at Maine.1

     Annie C. Young died on 16 March 1873 at Lubec, Washington, Maine,3 and was buried at Lubec Cemetery, Lubec, Washington, Maine.3

     Annie and Andrew appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Lubec, Washington, Maine, enumerated 1 June 1870. Andrew was working, fishing. There are two children listed, Eveline and Benjamin, of which are not listed in the 1880 Federal Census) His children Andrew J., Susan C., Ada M., Judson W., Mercy C. and Julia A. were listed as living with them.4
