     Charles, at age 28, son of Herbert Winfred Bradford and Alice E. Kimball, married Virginia Weston at age 27, daughter of Caleb Horatio Weston and Marie P. Ouilette, on 31 August 1945 at Maine.1

     Charles died on 28 July 2011, at Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 94.3,4

CHARLES R BRADFORD

DOVER-FOXCROFT - Charles R. Bradford, 94, husband of the late Virginia (Weston) Bradford, died July 28, 2011, at a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1917, in Enfield, son of Herbert W. and Alice (Kimball) Bradford. Charlie began working at Stowell-McGregor in 1936, and was manager at the time of its closing in 1964. He retired from Moosehead Manufacturing in 1982. Charlie will be sadly missed by his family and his cronies at Bear's Den. He is survived by two daughters, Margaret Patzner and her husband, Phillip, of Reno, Nev., and Elizabeth Gould and her husband, Timothy, of Lowell, Ark; a son, Robert Bradford and his wife, Wendy, of Guilford; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to call 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mount Hope Ave, Bangor, ME 04401.
