     Vasco, at age 25, married Madeline Wyman Burrill at age 17, daughter of Daniel Stephen Burrill and Anna Belle Moore, on 5 June 1920 at Camden, Knox, Maine.2

     Vasco Earl Carter died on 26 December 1974 at Ellsworth, Hancock, Maine, at age 79.3 and was buried at Birch Grove Cemetery, Ellsworth, Hancock, Maine.4
