     Henry Knowlton died on 13 September 1906 at Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 74. His death was caused by calcification of arteries10,11 and was buried at Knowlton Mills Cemetery, Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine.12

     Henry left a Will. On 28 September 1906, at Sangerville, Piscataquis, Maine, his son Harry, petitioned the court for Harvey J. Cross to be appointed administrator of Henry's estate.13
