     Clyde Ellwood Danforth, son of Charles Weatherbee Danforth and Ruth M. Prescott, was born on 16 May 1908 at Bradford, Penobscot, Maine.1

     Clyde, at age 19, son of Charles Weatherbee Danforth and Ruth M. Prescott, married Eleanor Myrtle Lawrence on 24 August 1927 at Maine.2,3

     Clyde, at age 23, son of Charles Weatherbee Danforth and Ruth M. Prescott, married Mary Louise Wood on 17 March 1932 at Maine.4

     Clyde died at age 79, on 16 April 1988, at Bangor, Penobscot, Maine,5,6 and was buried at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.5

Clyde was an attendent at a gas station Their children, Virginia R., Mary E. and Charles P. were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $16.26 in the year 2012. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2012 would have cost $.21 cents in 1940.9
