     Ephraim, son of Philip Danforth Jr and Rhoda Smith, married Mary L. Grant on 18 September 1872 by the Rev. Wardwell.3

     Ephraim and Mary appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Appleton, Knox, Maine, enumerated 3 July 1860. Ephriam was a farmer. His real estate valued at $1000.00 and personal property at $325.00. Their children, George, Charles S. and Ira E. were listed as living with them.6

     Ephraim appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Rockland, Knox, Maine, enumerated 9 July 1870. Ephriam was listed as a laborer. His children George, Charles S. and Ira E., and his mother, Rhoda were listed as living with him.7

     Ephraim and Mary appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings, New York, at South Second street, enumerated 1 June 1880. Ephraim was working as a ship carpenter Their children, Cecelia A. were listed as living with them.8

Nancy Anderson Becomes Bride Of Everett Danforth

Miss Nancy Ellen Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Fred Anderson, of 36 Merrlmac street and Everett Philip Danforth son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Danforth of 151 York street, were married Monday evening at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles A. Marstaller, on Esses street. Mr. Marstaller, minister of the Essex Street Baptist church officiated, using the double ring service. The young couple was attended by Mrs. Robert Ross, sister of the bridegroom and Hollis Fred Anderson Jr., brother of the bride. The bride wore a’dress of light blue net and lace and her accessories were of navy blue. Her corsage was of pink carnations. Mrs Ross wore a light grey dress and her shoulder bouquet was of pink carnations. The brides mother wore black and white sheer. Both the bride and bridegroom attended Bangor schools. They will make their home at 36 Merrimac street.2

FRANCES M BEAUUEU

BANGOR - Frances M Beaulieu "Ma Ross" 77 died Aug. 27, 2011. She battled cancer for 18 years and her strength gave her the courage to face each day as it came. Frances was born Feb. 23, 1934, in Orneville, the daughter of Leroy and Edna Danforth. She worked 17 years as a sandwich maker for Sonny's Italian. Frances enjoyed music, dancing and her own children, as well as the neighborhood children. She is survived by two sons, William Ross and his wife Susan of Kenduskeag, and Earl Ross and his wife Leree of Danforth; three daughters, Cheryl Whittington of Bangor, Rose Burke of Corinth, and Georgia Smith and her husband Tim of Ellsworth; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Frances is also survived by a wonderful special friend of 25 years Sonny and her two cats, Pinky and Blacky. She was predeceased by one son, Ross Jr., grandson; RJ; and husband Edward Beaulieu. Friends may call 1 pm until the time of service 2 pm Thursday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. Interment will be held 1 pm Saturday at Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations to Eastern Maine Hospice.2

GENEVA P HARVEY

BANGOR - Geneva P. Harvey, 71, loving mother, nana and gram, died Dec. 25, 2009, after a brief illness. She was born April 23, 1938, in Bradford, the daughter of Roy and Edna Danforth. Geneva loved life and lived it fully. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Harvey. Surviving are her husband, Leslie M. Harvey; children, Timothy Harvey, Ronald Harvey, Jeffery Harvey, Darryl Harvey, Randy Harvey, Ricky Harvey and his wife, Lynn; 20 grandchildren, Carrie, Melissa, Dwayne, Tina, Corey, Amanda, Joshua, Ronnie, Alicia, Jesse, Kimberly, Tina, Lucas, Karen, Scott, Bobbie, Derek, Travis, Lavender and Hunter; seven great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Xavier, Jordyn, Kooper, Logan, Brandon and Devin; brothers, Everett, James Allen and Richard; sisters, Kathleen, Frances and Carolyn; and her beloved cat, Angel. There will be a gathering of family and friends 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Tim Harvey's home, 21 South Shore Road, Glenburn. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Highland Cemetery, Carmel, at a date and time to be announced.
