     Edwin Damon was born on 23 April 1821 at Reading, Malden, Massachusetts.2

     Edwin, at age 26, married Sarah H. Lovejoy at age 21, daughter of Jacob Lovejoy and Sarah Sally Townsend, on 25 April 1847 at Stetson, Penobscot, Maine.1

     The Civil War ran a draft. There were four drafts that included 776,000 individuals in that time. The records contain class, congressional district, county, state, residence, name, age on July 1, 1863, race, profession, married status, birthplace, former military service, and remarks. Edwin was listed on line 7, his occupation as a farmer.3 Edwin Damon final action for a divorce from Sarah H. Lovejoy, was completed, SJC session, September 1868 at Somerset, Maine.4

     Edwin Damon died at age 80, on 1 May 1901, at Etna, Penobscot, Maine.1 He was buried at Clark's Hill Cemetery, Stetson, Penobscot, Maine.5

     Edwin and Sarah appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Charleston, Penobscot, Maine, enumerated 11 June 1860, Edwin was a farmer, his real estate valued at $700.00 and personal property at $150.00. Their children George, Caroline, Nancy, Hilliard Page, Sumner Townsend and Charlie were listed as living with them.6

     Harriet Watson Warren, daughter of Horatio Warren and Clarinda Hodgdon, was born on 17 February 1837 at Piscataquis, Maine.1
     Harriet Watson Warren and Abial Lovejoy filed a marriage intention on 26 February 1858 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine, Filed by Amasa Holden, Town Clerk.2

     Harriet, at age 21, married Abial Lovejoy at age 31, son of Jacob Lovejoy and Sarah Sally Townsend, on 28 March 1858 at Piscataquis, Maine.2

     Harriet Watson Warren died at age 70, on 3 July 1907.3 She was buried at Branscomb, Branscomb, Mendocino, California.3

     Harriet Watson Warren appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Guilford, Piscataquis, Maine, in the household of her mother, Clarinda Hodgdon, and her step father, Alfred Graves.4

Charles Lovejoy, 66, Ends Life by Shooting Charles Lovejoy, for many years a resident of Rocklin, committed suicide there Monday afternoon by shooting himself through the head. Friends claim he has brooded over his troubles for a long time. He was a native of Maine, aged 66 years. He was twice married and leaves a 10-year-old son, George, who lives with his mother in Lincoln. Interment will be in Rocklin Cemetery today. Roseville Tribune and Register, Wednesday, 10-16-1929.2
He was buried at Newcastle Cemetery, Newcastle, Placer, California.2
