     Julia and James Madison Stanhope filed a marriage intention on 9 January 1841 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.7,8,9

     Julia died on 11 January 1911, at North Bradford, Penobscot, Maine, at age 91. Her cause of death was listed as senile decay and apoplexy.10,11 She was buried at Corner Cemetery, Bradford, Penobscot, Maine.12

     Julia appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Bradford, Penobscot, Maine, in the household of her son, Amasa.15

     Julia appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Dover, Piscataquis, Maine in the household of her son, Alvin and wife, Martha.16
