     Jeremiah Hersey Jr was born on 18 October 1741 at Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.2

     Jeremiah, at age 31, married Mary Hersey at age 17, daughter of Isaiah Hersey and Margaret Sprague, on 31 December 1772.1

Lewis G. Hersey1

M, b. 1 October 1828, d. 8 May 1903
     Lewis G. Hersey was born on 1 October 1828 at Maine.1,2,3

     Lewis, married Mary Ann Crafts before 2 February 1862.1

     Lewis, at age 34, married Octavia Florantine Bolster at age 28, daughter of Jacob Bolster and Ruth Daggett, on 19 February 1863 This was a second marriage for Lewis. His first wife, Mary Ann Crafts, died, 02 Feburary 1862.1,4

     Lewis died at age 74, on 8 May 1903,5 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville, Delaware, Iowa.5

     Margaret, at age 19, daughter of Isaiah Hersey and Margaret Sprague, married Abijah Hersey at age 26 on 30 January 1766.1

Mary Hersey1

F, b. 26 January 1814, d. 1 February 1881
     Mary Hersey was born on 26 January 1814.2

     Mary, married Azel Pratt, son of Josiah Pratt and Sybil Gurney, after 1820.1

     Mary died at age 67, on 1 February 1881,2 and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, Allamakee, Iowa.2

Census

     Mary and Azel appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dover, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 19 August 1850. Their children, Noah Hersey and Marcellus Howard were listed as living with them.3

     Mary and Azel appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Makee, Allamakee, Iowa, enumerated 29 June 1870.4
