Phyllis's obituary read as follows: [:HTML:]

BREWER - We lost our mom, Phyllis I. Healey, Dec. 3, 2010. She fought a long, hard fight with heart disease. She was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Waltham, Mass., daughter of Dennett and Gertrude (Tainter) Spencer. She graduated from Waltham High School in 1952. In 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, Bob Ray. Bob was a military man, allowing them to do a bit of traveling around the world. They eventually settled in Maine. Dad was gone frequently so Mom and I and my sister were at home, and needless to say, Mom ruled the roost and ran a tight ship. Mom always put her family first above all else. She was the best mom in the world. Surviving are daughters, Sharon Stinson and her husband, Gene, of Brewer, and Cindye Burrill and her husband, Brian, of Eddington; and her granddaughters, Amanda and boyfriend, Jason, and Melanie and her boyfriend, James. She will be remembered by friends, Bea Rice and Priscilla Burrill; many special friends, Richard, Kathy and Josh Goodness, Betty and Jim McHale, Peggy Parker, Annie Tardiff, her hairdresser, Bobbi Hudson, who kept her looking good and two inches taller, and Karen and Terry Kearns; her very special home health nurse, Jennifer; and her special nurses at Brewer Rehabilitation - Bernie, you were an angel and we wouldn't have made it without all of you. She will also be remembered by her very, very special family at Cap's. She loved every one of you. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Nancy; her grandson, Robbie; her first husband, Bob; and her two brothers, Gene and Dennett. At Mom's request, no services will be held. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.

Rhonda Lee Van Dyke

F, b. 19 July 1959
Relationships
Daughter of Dianne Elizabeth Smith
Niece of Ellen June Smith
Rhonda L. Van Dyke, wife of Harry J. Tomah
Rhonda Lee Van Dyke, daughter of John William Van Dyke and Dianne Elizabeth Smith, was born on 19 July 1959 at Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.

Rhonda Lee Van Dyke lived with her parents, John and Dianne circa October 1964, at Finson Road, Bangor, Penobscot, Maine. She enjoyed having her own room in the brand new mobile home. In addition, the park had lots of children her own age. There was a big open field behind us. A great area to fly kites or for Mom to ice skate in the winter; We worked hard getting ready for winter. Skirting around the trailer, heat tape installed on the inlet water line.1

Rhonda and Traci lived with their parents, John and Dianne, circa May 1966, at 3rd Avenue, Floyd, New York. The mobile home park provided a real bit of separation. It had small bushes dividing the lots; We packed up the babies, driving a 1960 Ford Station Wagon and headed to New York. After a short stay at Griffis Air Force Base, in temporary base housing, (awaiting for the arrival of our new mobile home), we settled in Green Masions Trailer Park.1

Rhonda and Traci lived with their Mom, Dianne circa June 1967, at River Road, Sidney, Maine. Their Dad, was serving a one year remote tour at Keflavik, Iceland; No one told us anything was going to be easy. Our trailer we had in New York was moved to Maine. For John, in addition to working on the flight line, he had a parttime job, cleaning work offices at Keflevik.1

Rhonda and Traci traveled with their Dad and Mom, in May 1968, in their thoughts, (316 Texas Avenue, Victorville, San Bernardino, California) on their minds; The start of the trip was great. However, as we got to middle America, then on toward Southwest, we knew what we were missing without air conditioning in the car.1

Rhonda, Traci and Karen traveled with their Dad and Mom, in May 1970, in their thoughts, (Bangor, Maine) on their minds; John received military orders to Udorn, Thailand. His tour was remote for one year.1

Rhonda, Traci and Karen traveled with their Dad and Mom, in June 1971, in their thoughts, (Las Vegas, Nevada) on their minds. Rhonda was attending Jim Bridger Jr. High. It was strange (but needed) to see a policeman on campus; To express the excitement is difficult. After a short stay in temporary lodging, we were assigned residence.1

Rhonda, Traci and Karen traveled with the rest of the family, heading in November 1975, to Portsmouth, New Hampshire; The weather from Las Vegas was great. However, the first night's stop, Flagstaff, Arizona, became a disaster. Prior to arrival, it snowed 12 inches. The next morning, the temperature was close to ZERO, plus another 12 inches of snow. Our car cooling system was not treated with enough antifreeze. The wakeup and thought of early departure was gone. It was about one o'clock in the afternoon, when the area warmed up and the car thawed were we able to proceed.1

Kenneth C. Smith, husband of Mary H. Wheeler
Kenneth C. Smith, son of Kenneth A. Smith and Josephine Burgess, was born on 11 October 1924 at Harrington, Washington, Maine.1

Kenneth, at age 21, married Mary H. Wheeler on 24 March 1946.2

Kenneth C. Smith died at age 86, on 30 December 2010, at Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.1

Census

Kenneth C. Smith appeared on the 1940 Federal Census, enumerated 13 April 1940, of Lubec, Washington, Maine in the household of his parents, Kenneth and Josephine.3

     Kenneth's obituary read as follows:
BUCKSPORT and SANGERVILLE - Kenneth C. Smith passed away Dec. 30, 2010, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Ken was born Oct. 11, 1924, in Harrington, to Kenneth A Smith and Josephine Burgess Smith of Harrington. He was a graduate of Lubec High School and in 1943 from the second class at Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, being appointed as a third mate and ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Ken served in both World War II and the Korean War, serving a total of 81/2 years with more than 27 months of foreign sea duty. Some of the wartime ports of call were Omaha Beach, Normandy, Corrigador and the Philippines. After military discharge Ken sought to work for the people of the state of Maine and was in 1953 appointed to Maine State Police, serving honorably in Troop A York County, Troop C Piscatiquis County, Troop E Washington County, Troop F Aroostook County and Troop G Maine Turnpike. In 1973, Ken retired from there and began working at Maine Yankee, Wiscassett, eventually actually retiring to the home he built on River Road, Bucksport. Always one to love hunting, fishing or building something, he now had time to do it. He was never too busy to help his son, daughter, families or friends with whatever project or expedition was on going, and will be greatly missed and always lovingly and respectfully remembered. In later years he became addicted to a game called golf and nearly became unrecognizable in his zeal for the perfect swing. His talk of friends at the 19th hole at Bucksport Golf Course always brought smiles and fond memories. Ken was predeceased by both parents; his sister, Alice London of Bucksport; his former wife, Mary Wheeler Spencer of Sanford; and his much cherished daughter, Sharon Marie Marion of North Berwick. He is survived by his son, Bradford S. Smith and daughter-in-law, Marilou, of Sangerville, with whom he resided; his former wife, Dawn Danforth and her children, Mark and Kathy, of Bucksport; grandchildren, K. Bret Smith of New Gloucester, Michael Smith and wife, Jen, of South Casco, Jamie Fenderson and wife, Jen, of North Berwick, Aaron Fenderson of North Berwick, and Alicia Abbott and husband, Tim, of Sanford; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Connor, Madeline and Isabella Smith, Emily and Jeremy Fenderson and Hailey Abbott, all residents of Southern Maine. The family expresses thanks to the many wonderful caregivers at the Eastern Maine Medical Center skilled care unit; Maine Veterans Home, Bangor, especially C Unit; and all the staff at Hibbard's Skilled Care Facility, Dover Foxcroft. There will be a military graveside service scheduled in the spring with a celebration of Ken's life after at his Sangerville residence at a time to be announced.
