     Mary Parker Dresser, daughter of Aaron Balch Dresser and Hannah P. Lawrence, was born on 21 January 1862 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.2

     Mary, at age 32, daughter of Aaron Balch Dresser and Hannah P. Lawrence, married Alvin Perkins Maddocks at age 28, son of Ezakiel W. Maddocks and Elizabeth Saunders, on 17 October 1894 at Holden, Penobscot, Maine.3

     Mary was She must have been feeling very ill. After reading her Record of Death, she had cancer of the uterus.' It begins in the lining of the uterus (endometrium) and is more precisely termed endometrial cancer (carcinoma).' on 6 October 1920.4

     Mary Parker Dresser died on 10 November 1920 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine, at age 58. Her attending doctor, Horace E, Snow, M. D. The cause of death was listed as carcinoma of the uterus2 and was buried on 13 November 1920 at Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.5
