     Martha and William were "old Foxcroft" from Hebron. He created an opening on lot #10 in the 4th range, now known as the Goff farm. He erected a house and there spent the remaining years of his life, much esteemed and respected circa 1823.7

     Elizabeth Alden, daughter of John Blunden Alden and Priscilla Mullins, was born between 1623 and 1625 at Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 Elizabeth Alden was married to William Pabodie, a civic and military leader of Duxbury where all thirteen of their children were born. They moved to Little Compton, Rhode Island where Elizabeth died in 1717 at the age of about 94. Their descendants were prominent in settling areas of Rhode Island and Connecticut From Elizabeth’s line comes the one individual most credited with spreading the fame of John and Priscilla far and wide, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in his "Courtship of Miles Standish."2

     John Alden, son of John Blunden Alden and Priscilla Mullins, was born circa 1626 at Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 John Alden was moved to Boston and married there Elizabeth (Phillips) Everill, widow of Abiel Everill. They also had 13 children. He was a mariner and became a naval commander of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was a member of the Old South Church of Boston and his ancient slate headstone is embedded in the wall there. Perhaps the best known event of his life is when, on a trip to Salem, he was accused of witchcraft, spending fifteen weeks in a Boston jail. He escaped shortly before nine of the other "victims" were executed. He was later exonerated.2

SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Delana Pratt, all my estate, both real and personal for her to use and control, so far as is necessary to enable her to provide for herself a comfortable home and support during her natural life: the rest residue and remainder after her decease, to be disposed of in manner following.
THIRD: If my said wife shall elect to live with my daughter, Martha G. Hewett, and the said Martha shall thus have the care of her mother, the said Delana, during her natural life, then it is my will that the said Martha G. Hewett shall have three fourths part of the said remaining property, out of which she shall pay all the just debts, expenses of last sickness and funeral _______________________.
FOURTH: I give bequeath and devise to my son Ellis F. W. Pratt my secretary or book desk in which I keep my books: also the two vols. of Greenley's History of the Rebellion --- and my two Vols. of the Cottage Bible: all to be delivered to him at my decease, or at the decease of my said wife as she may elect. I have heretofore given my said son Ellis considerable property.
SIXTH: In the event that the said Martha G. Hewett should die before the death of my said wife, and the said Willie A. Pratt should then have the care of his mother, the said Delana, then the said Willie A. Pratt to have the said three fourths part of the property remaining at the decease of the said Delana and upon the same conditions Martha was to have had it had she lived and the other one fourth (4th) to go to the children of the said Martha G. Hewett.
SEVENTH: If the said Willie A. Pratt or the said Ellis F. W. Pratt shuld decease, before the death of their said mother, the said Delana, then their share or shares under this will to go to their respective children.
EIGHTH: If the said Martha G. Hewett and Willie A. Pratt should both die before their said mother, and the said Ellis F. W. Pratt shall have the care of the said Delana, it is my will that he shall have one half of the property remaining at the decease of the said Delana on the same conditions the said Martha G. would have had it had she lived; and the other two fourths of said remaining property to go one fourth to the children of said Martha G. Hewett and the other one fourth to the children of said Willie A. Pratt.
NINTH: I hereby appoint John P. Hewett to be sole executor of this my last will and testament.

     Charles Roland Fenderson died at age 78, on 10 October 2006.6

As a note, his wife to be in 1946, Irene G. Brown, was living next door. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $16.26 in the year 2012. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2012 would have cost $.21 cents in 1940.9
