Isaac Bolster, husband of Mary Dwinel
     Isaac Bolster Jr., son of Isaac Bolster and Hipzebah Wait, was born on 28 April 1737. He was an officer in the war of the Revolution, holding a Lieutenant’s Commission and afterwards that of Captain. He was one of the minute men who marched to Concord Apr. 17, 1775. He was an early settler of Hebron and in 1784, moved to Paris where he died.2

     Isaac, at age 24, son of Isaac Bolster and Hipzebah Wait, married Mary Dwinel on 24 July 1761 at Sutton, Massachusetts.3,4

     Isaac Bolster Jr. was in Military Service on 19 April 1775 serving as Lieutenant in Capt John Putnam's Company, Col. Ebenezar Learned's Reg't. Later Isaac was commissioned a Captain. One of the early settlers of Hebron [Maine], he later moved to Paris Maine where in 1784 he owned considerable property. In 1804 he purchased several lots in Foxcroft.1

     Isaac was with his sons, lots 3 and 4 of the second range in Foxcroft to Bela Jr. and Jacob Hammond on 11 March 1815.1

     Isaac died at age 87, on 27 April 1825,1 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Paris, Oxford, Maine.5

Jacob Bolster, husband of Ruth Daggett
     Jacob Bolster, son of Abraham Bolster and Bathsheba House, was born on 3 February 1805 at Paris, Oxford, Maine.3,1,2

     Jacob settled in Foxcroft on the large farm he had purchased of his mother, December 11, 1826. He cleared the greater part of the farm and erected the comfortable buildings, now standing, and in which he and his estimable wife passed over fifty years of wedded life. circa December 1826, at Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.1

     Jacob, son of Abraham Bolster and Bathsheba House, married Ruth Daggett, daughter of Rev. Thomas Daggett and Ruth Record, in 1829.4

     Jacob Bolster for Fourteen Hundred dollars sold the homestead farm and all buildings thereon situated in said Foxcroft being Lot numbered two (2) in the third (3) range of Lots in said town, excepting the parts thereof now owned by Alvin Adams and Thomas Towne and also all the South part of Lot numbered four (4) in the fourth (4th) range of lots in said town which lies South of the brook which runs from East to West across said lot, both of said parcels of land containing one hundred and twenty six acres, more or less and being the same premises conveyed me the said Jacob Bolster by two deeds, one from Bathsheba Bolster, dated December 11th, 1826 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 204, page 493, and the other from Bathsheba Bolster dated April 25th 1845, and recorded in Piscataquis of Deeds Volume 8 Page 531, excepting from this conveyance, the parts of said premises, now owned by said Adams and Towne Ephraim Flint, Justice of the Peace on 10 June 1881.5

     Jacob Bolster died on 14 June 1881 at age 76.1 and was buried at Lee Cemetery, Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.6

     Jacob Bolster appeared on the 1830 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.7 He appeared on the 1840 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.8

     Jacob and Ruth appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 August 1850. Jacob's real estate was valued at $1000.00. Their children, Luther H., Susan Augusta, Octavia Florantine, Hattie, Ellen and Leroy M. were listed as living with them.9

     Jacob and Ruth appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 2 June 1860. He worked as a farmer, his real estate valued at $1500.00 and personal property at $770.00. Their children, Susan Augusta, Octavia Florantine, Hattie, Delia and Leroy M. were listed as living with them.10

     Jacob and Ruth appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 10 June 1870. Jacob's real estate was valued at $2000.00 and personal property at $925.00. They had one non-family member in the household, Ida M. Gallison. Their children, Leroy M. and Delia, along with Adelia's son, Lewis were listed as living with them.11

     Jacob appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 23 June 1880. Ruth, Jacob's wife had passed away in March of that year. The census was listing him as a farmer. His children, Hattie and Leroy M. and his wife with three children were listed as living with them.12

Jacob Bolster, born 1769, son of Isaac and Mary Bolster
     Jacob Bolster, son of Isaac Bolster Jr. and Mary Dwinel, was born circa 1769.1

     Jacob died on 28 August 1775,1 and was buried at Millbury Cemetery, Millbury, Worcester, Massachusetts. Headstone reads: ERECTED in the memory of the Children of Capt. Isaac Bolster and Mrs. Mary his wife. Mr Solomon Bolster died November 2 1806 in the 18 year of his age. William Bolster died August 15th 1775 in the 11th year of his age. Jacob Bolster died August 28th 1775 in the 6th year of his age. Mehitable Bolster died August 17th 1775 in the 9th year of her age. Mary Bolster died August 17th 1775 in the 6th month of her age. Jacob Bolster died August 28th 1778 in the 3d year of his age. John Bolster died June 15th 1780 in the 2d year of his age. Death like an overflowing flood hath us all swept away.
The young the old the middle aged to Death become a prey.1
