     On 15 May 1912, William sent a letter to Jennie . (William is the man that was planning to marry Marcia). From reading his letter, Mr. Brown was very much in love with Marcia and obviously very saddened hearing of her death.2

     On 14 August 1912, William sent a letter to Jennie. (William, Mr. Brown, was the man planning to marry Marcia.) He was thanking them for sending Marcia's ring back. He also discusses his involvement with farming. And, there are some comments about a wedding present to Marion and Clifford.2

     Arthur De Witt Bryant, son of Cyrus Bryant and Lucinda Stowell Cain, was born on 6 August 1863 at Roxbury, Massachusetts.1,2

     Arthur, at age 32, son of Cyrus Bryant and Lucinda Stowell Cain, married Mary Hoxie Bradford McLane on 10 June 1896 at Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts.3

     Arthur and Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, enumerated, 7 June 1900. Arthur was a bookkeeper. Arthur's father, Cyrus was listed as living with them.7

     Arthur and Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, at Chestnut Street, enumerated 22 April 1910. Arthur was a clerk at a savings bank. Lothian Bryant, age 5, great nephew in law was with them.8

Cyrus Bryant1

     Cyrus Bryant was born circa 1824 at Pembroke, Massachusetts.2

     Cyrus, married Lucinda Stowell Cain at age 19, daughter of David Cain and Tabitha Burrell, on 5 January 1854 at Hanson, Massachusetts.1,2

     Cyrus died on 13 March 1902, at Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts,3 and was buried at Fort Hill Cemetery, Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.3

     Cyrus and Lucinda appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, enumerated 15 June 1860. He was working as a nailer.4

     Cyrus and Lucinda appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, enumerated 6 July 1870. Cyrus was listed as "in tack works" Their children, Otis B. and Arthur De Witt were listed as living with them.5

     Cyrus and Lucinda appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts, enumerated 17 June 1880. Cyrus was a tack maker. They had a boarder, Charlotte Howard, age 32, in their home. Their children, Arthur De Witt and Lillian E. were listed as living with them.6
