     Benona Black was born on 8 November 1815 at Palermo, Lincoln, Maine.2

     Benona, married Sally (Dolly) Norton.1

     Benona, at age 31, married Clarissa M. Johnson at age 21, daughter of Sally (Dolly) Norton, on 23 September 1847 at Dedham, Hancock, Maine.3,4,5

     Benona Black died on 17 April 1854 at age 38.4,6 and was buried at Central Cemetery, Dedham, Hancock, Maine.7
