Nancy Anderson Becomes Bride Of Everett Danforth

Miss Nancy Ellen Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Fred Anderson, of 36 Merrlmac street and Everett Philip Danforth son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Danforth of 151 York street, were married Monday evening at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles A. Marstaller, on Esses street. Mr. Marstaller, minister of the Essex Street Baptist church officiated, using the double ring service. The young couple was attended by Mrs. Robert Ross, sister of the bridegroom and Hollis Fred Anderson Jr., brother of the bride. The bride wore a’dress of light blue net and lace and her accessories were of navy blue. Her corsage was of pink carnations. Mrs Ross wore a light grey dress and her shoulder bouquet was of pink carnations. The brides mother wore black and white sheer. Both the bride and bridegroom attended Bangor schools. They will make their home at 36 Merrimac street.¹

     Phyllis Vergene Anderson was born on 11 June 1928 at Washington.^2,3

     Phyllis, at age 17, married Lawrence W. Smith, son of Lawrence Begg Smith and Myrtle Du Mars, on 16 November 1945 at Spokane, Spokane, Washington.¹

     Phyllis died at age 57, on 22 May 1986,³ and was buried at Mountain View Cemrtery, Centralia, Lewis, Washington.³

     Robert, married Grace Melburn.

     Sarah, married Edward Phelps at age 28, son of Samuel Phelps and Sarah Chandler, on 4 November 1714 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.
