- DOVER-FOXCROFT Dec 17— Eisie the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Cross of Foxcroft was united in marriage at 3 o’clock on Thursday afternoon to Stanley Hardman Ham, only son of Mr. and Mrs Willis S. Ham, the ceremony being performed at the Cross residence in the presence of immediate relatives. Rev. A Gertrude Earle of the First Universalist church officiated the double ring service being used. The parlors where the cememony was performed were very prettily decorated with pink carnations. The bride was charmingly attired in a wisteria traveling gown. The wedding gifts were numerous and especially beautiful including cut glass, dainty china, silver and Minon. The young couple are well known and very popular here. The bride is a very attractive young lady and held in high regard by her friends. The groom is an accomplished musician and has for several years been prominent in the musical circles of the county. They have the best wishes of a host of friends for many years of future happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Ham left in the four o’clock train for Boston for a two weeks trip. They will reside in Foxcroft.3


     Stanley died at age 53, on 9 November 1937,2 and was buried at Rural Grove Cemetery, Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.2

(Special to The Bangor Dally News) DOVER-FOXCROFT Nov 9— Stanley H. Ham, 51, native and long a resident of this town died today at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. George Chappelle, in Wicklow R I. He was the son of Willis and Eliza Lyford Ham. A musician most of his life he had studied at the New England Conservatory of Music a as director of the Dover-Foxcroft band prominent in amateur theatricals and for many seasons had travelled all over the country with road shows He was widely known and had many friends Surviving are his wife his mother his daughter and his sister Mra Adrian Pierce who Uvea here He was a member of Klneo lodge I O O F The y funeral will be here at the residence of his mother Friday the time to be announced4
