     Benjamin Priestly Johnson Jr. was born on 23 April 1923 at Kentucky.1

     Benjamin, at age 22, married Reba M. Smith, daughter of Harvey Russell Smith and Sadie J. Tobey, on 5 December 1945 at Maine.1

     Benjamin died on 10 October 1971 at age 48.1 and was buried at Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Franklin, Kentucky.2

     Clarissa M. Johnson, daughter of Sally (Dolly) Norton, was born on 28 February 1826 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine.3,4,5

     Clarissa, at age 21, daughter of Sally (Dolly) Norton, married Benoni Black at age 31 on 23 September 1847 at Dedham, Hancock, Maine.6,3,7

     Clarissa died on 31 May 1906 at age 80.8,5 and was buried at Central Cemetery, Dedham, Hancock, Maine.9

     Clarissa and Benoni appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dedham, Hancock, Maine, enumerated 30 August 1850. Benoua listed his occupation as a farmer. Their children, Mary Malissa were listed as living with them His children, Betsy, Jesse Taylor and William Wallace were listed as living with him..10

     Clarissa appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Dedham, Hancock, Maine, enumerated 19 June 1860. Clarissa, now a widow, had in her household, Henry Black, age 20, working as a farmer.11
