Stephen F. Lovejoy

Stephen Frank Lovejoy, well known resident of Cool, El Dorado County, passed away in the Highland Hospital here last Thursday at 7 p.m. He had been confined to the hospital for four days. The deceased was 79 years of age at the time of his death. His parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Lorsten Lovejoy, were pioneer residents of El Dorado County. He was born at Cool and passed his entire life in that vicinity, where he was engaged in ranching. He had been retired in recent years. Lovejoy is survived by two sons. Stanley S. Lovejoy and Wesley A. Lovejoy, both of Cool. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Maude Newman of Oakland. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m., ih the West and Hite Chapel of the Hills. Burial followed in the Georgetown cemetery.2
