     Charles Warren Lovejoy, son of Abial Lovejoy and Harriet Watson Warren, was born on 18 April 1865 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.2,3

     Charles, son of Abial Lovejoy and Harriet Watson Warren, married Amanda Dobbas Brown.

     Charles died on 14 October 1929, at California, at age 64,2 and was buried at Newcastle Cemetery, Newcastle, Placer, California.2

Obituary

Charles Lovejoy, 66, Ends Life by Shooting


Charles Lovejoy, for many years a resident of Rocklin, committed suicide there Monday afternoon by shooting himself through the head. Friends claim he has brooded over his troubles for a long time. He was a native of Maine, aged 66 years. He was twice married and leaves a 10-year-old son, George, who lives with his mother in Lincoln. Interment will be in Rocklin Cemetery today.
