     Angie Lovejoy, daughter of Levi A. Lovejoy and Avaline B. Orcutt, was born on 4 December 1880 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine.1,2

     Angie, at age 19, daughter of Levi A. Lovejoy and Avaline B. Orcutt, married Joseph L. France at age 22 on 26 March 1900 at Charleston, Penobscot, Maine, Unknown GEDCOM info: 26 MAR 1900.3,4

     Angie Lovejoy died on 16 January 1959 at Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 78.5,2 and was buried at Charleston Village Cemetery.5,2

     Angie Lovejoy, along with her husband, Joseph appeared on the 1900 Federal Census in Charleston, Penobscot, Maine in the household of her parents, Levi and Avaline.6

     Angie and Joseph appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Garland, Penobscot, Maine, enumerated 28 April 1910. Joseph was working as a merchant in a general store. Angie was listed as a sales woman. There were two others in the home; one a partner in the store and the other a servant.7

     Angie and Joseph appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Garland, Penobscot, Maine, enumerated 19 January 1920. Joseph was working in a grocery store. Angie was the post master. They had their neice, Elsie Smith in the household.8

     Angie and Joseph appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Kenduskeag, Penobscot, Maine, enumerated 12 April 1940. Joseph owned his home, valued at $750.00. He was working as a farm laborer. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $16.26 in the year 2012. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2012 would have cost $.21 cents in 1940.9

MRS ANGIE FRANCE

KENDUSKEAG Jan 16— Mrs. Angie France, 78, a retired postmaster, died Friday at the home of her nephew, Clyde Lovejoy at Dover-Foxcroft alter a long illness. She was born at Charleston December 4, 1880, the daughter of Levi and Adaline (O’Cott) Lovejoy. Mrs. Frances had served as postmaster at Garland and Kenduskeag. She attended the Baptist Church at Kenduskeag. Survivors include a foster daughter, Mrs. Elsie Terrill of Kenduskeag; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Kenduskeag Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Gordon pastor, officiating. Friends may call at the Lary Funeral Home at Dover-Foxcroft, Saturday afternoon from 2 until 4 o’clock and from 7 until 9 o’clock in the evening. The remains will be entombed at Dover-Foxcroft to await spring burial at charleston.2

     Ann Lovejoy, daughter of John (Rowland) Lovejoy I and Mary Osgood, was born on 21 December 1659 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.1,2

     Ann, at age 25, daughter of John (Rowland) Lovejoy I and Mary Osgood, married Jonathan Blanchard, son of Samuel Blanchard and Mary Sweetser, on 26 May 1685 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.1

     Ann Lovejoy died on 29 February 1724 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts, at age 64.1,3 and was buried at South Church Cemetery, Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.3

     Anna, at age 16, daughter of Capt. William Lovejoy Jr. and Sarah Frye, married Zebediah Abbott at age 33, son of Deacon Nehemiah Abbott and Abigail Lovejoy, on 2 June 1728.3

     Anna Lovejoy died on 9 September 1769 at age 58.2 and was buried at South Church Cemetery, Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.4
