Nathaniel Lovejoy, husband of Mary Roberts
     Nathaniel Lovejoy, son of Abiel Lovejoy and Mary Brown, was born on 8 August 1759 at Charlestown, Suffolk, Massachusetts. He was sent to Charlestown to be educated and later maintained the Lovejoy Ferry established by his father on the Kennebec at Sidney, Maine.1

     Nathaniel and Mary Roberts filed a marriage intention on 17 June 1782.2

     Nathaniel, son of Abiel Lovejoy and Mary Brown, married Mary Roberts.2

     Nathaniel died on 15 May 1849 at Vassalboro, Maine, at age 89.3 and was buried at Union Cemetery, Vassalboro, Kennebec, Maine.4
