     Isaac, married Samantha Granville Pratt, daughter of Barnabus Pratt and Polly (Mary) Parsons, between 1843 and 1844.1,2

     Isaac M. Parsons began Civil War military service on 1 September 1864 at Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, Isaac was serving in Company "C", 8th Regt Infantry and was discharged 30 May 1865.4

     Isaac, married Prudence Lavania Stedman at age 64, daughter of John Stedman and Patience Morse, on 10 May 1891.1,2,5

     Isaac M. Parsons died on 9 November 1905, at Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine. His cause of death was listed as paralysis.1,6,3 He was buried in Parsons Cemetery at Dover Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine.7

Burnham Cemetery

     Burnham Cemetery - Burnham Cemetery is located at Corner of Burnham Cemetery and Campbell Road, Garland, Penobscot, Maine. This is an older cemetery and is not used any more but is kept up by the town of Garland it was established in 1828. There is a 4-foot white cross in the far right rear of this cemetery with no stones it represents unmarked graves of earlier settlers that were moved to this cemetery from family lots. To reach the cemetery you go
east on the Corinth Rd. then turn left onto the Campbell Rd go out for one and one half miles it is the second cemetery you come to it is on the left side of the road. Graves with the GAR marker are veterans of the civil war.
