     Paula M. Leblond and Marcelle J. Whitney were divorced on 7 May 1976 at Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.4

     Paula, at age 39, married James F. Newcomb on 22 January 1977.5

     Paula M. Leblond died at age 73, on 28 February 2011, at Bangor, Penobscot, Maine.2

     Paula's obituary read as follows:
HAMPDEN - Paula M. Newcomb, 73, passed away peacefully Feb. 28, 2011, surrounded by her family at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 8, 1937, in Limestone, daughter of the late Wilfred and Laura (Mosher) LeBlond. Paula was a graduate of Limestone High School and Husson College. She lived in Hampden for many years, and was a vital and active member of the community and a devote communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Parish St. Matthews Catholic Church. Paula worked for the town of Hampden as tax collector and town clerk for 20 years before retiring. She was always on the go and helping others. Paula will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who contributed greatly to many people's lives and to the fabric of the town of Hampden. Paula is survived by her beloved daughters, Denise Overlock and her longtime companion, Sean McDonald, of Brewer, Laura Preston and her husband, Dennis, of Hampden and June Levesque and her husband, Michael, of Hampden; and brother, Thomas LeBlond and his wife, Karen, of Cushing. She was the proud grandmother of Monique Overlock, Ronnie Overlock Jr. and his wife, Nicole, Jennifer Rogers and her husband, Jerry, Justin Preston, Reese, Brigette and Wyatt Levesque. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Johanna and Jordan Rogers and Hayden Murphy; many special friends. Family and friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Matthews Catholic Church, 70 Western Ave., Hampden. Interment in the springtime will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden. The family would appreciate any expressions of sympathy be made in Paula's memory to Physical Therapy Fund for patients with Multiple Sclerosis, care of St. Joseph Healthcare, P.O.      Alice, married Buford Leach Grant circa 1933.3

     Alice Lula Burrill died at age 96, on 12 March 2006, at West River Road, Sidney, Kennebec, Maine.4 Alice's obituary was published in the Morning Sentinel on March 16, 2006 as follows:
SIDNEY -- Alice Lula (Burrill) Grant, 96, wife of the late Buford L. Grant, former Waterville superintendent of schools, died on Sunday, March 12, 2006, at her home on West River Road.
She was born in Los Angeles on Dec. 16, 1909, the daughter of Carrie (Johnston) Burrill and Charles Leslie Burrill. In 1910, when Alice was 6 months old, the family moved to Dedham.
A graduate of Brewer High School in 1927 and of Washington State Normal School in 1933, Alice taught in Eaton, Bucksport, Monroe, and Charlotte schools and substitute taught in Garfield, Ashland, and Waterville, all in Maine. In addition, she tutored privately and in the Waterville public schools and taught Sunday school in Ashland. She was a member of the National Education Association, the Maine Education Association, the Maine Association of Retirees, and the Knox County Retired Teachers Association.
Alice and Buford enjoyed 27 years of retirement in Punta Gorda, Fla., and in Camden and Portage Lake, Maine, before moving to Sidney in 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Sawtelle and husband, William, of Sidney; a son, Roger K. Grant and wife, Barbara, of Monroe, Conn; three grandchildren, Catherine Sawtelle Rothrock, Jeannine Grant Petriel and Roger K. Grant Jr; four great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Buford L. Grant; an infant daughter, Anna May; a brother, Clarence J. Burrill; and a sister, Georgia Sproul.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Wheeler Funeral Home of Oakland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice's memory may be made to the Buford L. and Alice B. Grant Scholarship, University of Maine at Machias, Advancement Office, 9 O'Brien Ave., Machias, ME 04654 or to the Pine Tree Society, P.O. Box 518, Bath, ME 04530.5
