Irene Blake, wife of Sharon Cross
     Irene Blake was born on 17 November 1831 at Maine.1,2 She and Sharon Cross obtained a marriage license before 23 May 1863.3

     Irene, married Sharon Cross, son of Moses Cross and Sarah Sands, circa 23 May 1863.4

     Irene died on 24 December 1909 at age 78.1,5 and was buried at Sebec Corner Cemetery, Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.6

Census

     Irene and Sharon appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 5 July 1870. Sharon is listed as a farmer. His real estate is valued at $2000.00, and his personal property at $1650.00 Irene listed her personal property at $150.00. Their son, Harvey J. and his children, Susan Emily and Silas H., were listed as living with them.7

     Irene and Sharon appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 4 June 1880. He was listed as a farmer. Their son, Harvey J. and Sharon's children, Silas H. and Susan Emily were listed as living with them.8

     Irene appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 6 June 1900. Irene was listed as a farmer on the census. Her son, Harvey J., his wife, Florence and two grandsons, Hugo Silas and Donald Harvey were listed as living with her.9,10
