     Wheeler Cross, son of Moses Cross and Sarah Sands, was born circa 1822 at Maine.1

     Wheeler Cross posted the following: "Executor's Notice---The subscriber hereby gives public notice to all concerned, that he has been duly appointed, and taken upon himself the trust of Executor of the Estate of Moses Cross, late of Sebec, in the County of Piscataquis, deceased, by giving bond as the law directs. He therefore requests all persons who are indebted to said deceased's estate to make immediate payment; and those who have any demands thereon, to exhibit the same for settlement to Wheeler Cross, Executor. Sebec, April 4, 1848." on 20 April 1848.2

     Wheeler and Mary H. Chase filed a marriage intention on 1 September 1848 at Sebec, Piscataquis, Maine.3,1
