Oshea Buzzel, husband of Salome B. Drew
     Oshea Buzzell, son of James Buzzell and Betsey Hanson, was born on 30 September 1837 at Wellington, Piscataquis, Maine.2

     Oshea Buzzell was a veteran of the Civil War. He was enrolled as private in Company F. 20th Regt. of Maine Vols. He was wounded in battle, 3 JUN 1865 by reason of his wounds was honorably discharged from the service.3

     Oshea, at age 27, son of James Buzzell and Betsey Hanson, married Salome B. Drew at age 20, daughter of Joseph Drew and Charlettie (?), on 27 June 1865 at Wellington, Piscataquis, Maine.4,5,6

     Oshea Buzzell died on 2 July 1910 at Guilford, Piscataquis, Maine, at age 72. His death was caused by 'Interstitial nephritis'. (Interstitial nephritis is a kidney disorder in which the spaces between the kidney tubules become swollen (inflamed). The inflammation can affect the kidneys' function, including their ability to filter waste.) Valvular heart disease and cirrhosis of the liver.7 and was buried at Abbot Village Cemetery, Abbot, Piscataquis, Maine.8

     Oshea and Salome appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Wellington, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 8 June 1880. Oshea was working as a farmer. Their children, Mabel L., James B., Nellie A. and Joseph Oshea were listed as living with them.10

     Oshea and Salome appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Abbot, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 13 June 1900. Oshea was working as a farmer. Their children, Nellie A., Joseph Oshea, Willis Percival and Lewis Irving were listed as living with them.11

     Oshea and Salome appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Guilford, Piscataquis, Maine, enumerated 19 April 1910. Oshea indicated he had his own income. Their daughter, Nellie A. and her daughter, Abbie were listed as living with them..12
