     Bela Cushing died in 1749.²

     Beza Cushing, son of Adam Cushing, was born on 11 July 1731 at Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.¹

     Beza Cushing died in 1771.²

     Daniel Cushing was baptized on 20 April 1619 at Hingham, United Kingdom.¹

     Daniel, at age 25, married Lydia Gilman on 19 January 1645.¹

     Daniel, at age 71, married Elizabeth Jacob, daughter of Nicholas Jacob and Mary (?), on 23 March 1690/91 at Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.¹

     Daniel Cushing died on 3 December 1700 at age 81.

He was an active business man, sagacious and thorough in whatever he undertook ; a magistrate of more than ordinary ability ; selectman 1665, and for many yrs. after ; town clerk from 1669 until the time of his decease ; delegate to the General Court in 1680, 1682, and 1695, and a man of influence and power in the community. It is to him more than to any of his contemporaries that the present generation is indebted for much of the valuable information which has come down to us relating to the early planters of this town. He accumulated a large property for the period in which he lived, and his will, dated 11 Sept. 1693, proved 18 Feb. 1700-1, covers sev. pages of MS., in the S. P. rec's. Resided on the paternal homestead. Main St., below ' Pear Tree Hill.¹'

     David Cushing, son of Capt. Theophilus Cushing and Mary Jacob Thaxter, was born in December 1694 at Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.¹

     David, at age 23, son of Capt. Theophilus Cushing and Mary Jacob Thaxter, married Rachel Lewis at age 23, daughter of John Lewis and Hannah Lincoln, on 22 April 1718.²

     David Cushing died on 3 December 1723³ and was buried at High Street Cemetery, Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.³

     Deborah Cushing, daughter of Capt. Theophilus Cushing and Mary Jacob Thaxter, was born on 26 September 1707 at Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.¹
