     Margaret Blanche Curtis, daughter of George Warren Curtis and Nettie Ellen Burrill, was born on 27 January 1892 at Hennepin, Minnesota.3,2

     Margaret, at age 20, daughter of George Warren Curtis and Nettie Ellen Burrill, married Stanley Wentworth Leathers at age 24, son of Elwyn A. Leathers and Addie E. Wentworth, on 22 November 1912.4

     Margaret Blanche Curtis died on 28 April 1984 at age 92.3,5 and was buried at Mound Cemetery, Brooklyn, Hennepin, Minnesota.6

He owned his home and had a radio set Their children, Helen, Ruth Wilma, Elwyn C., Ann, Blanche and Martha were listed as living with them.9

     Margaret and Stanley appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Brooklyn Center Village, Hennepin, Minnesota, enumerated 4 April 1940. Stanley had his own farm currently valued at $1800.00. The census indicated he completed three years high school and Margaret completed four years high school. They also had a hired hand and a one year old lodger in their home. Their children, Helen, Blanche and Martha were listed as living with them. As an item of interest, a dollar in 1940 would equal $16.26 in the year 2012. A $3.50 gallon of milk in 2012 would have cost $.21 cents in 1940.10
