CLARA M SAUNDERS

SURRY - Clara M. Saunders, 70, died April 4, at a Blue Hill hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1904, at Dennysville, and was the daughter of the late George and May Dudley Fenderson. She is survived by her husband, Oscar L. Saunders, of Surry and a son, Clifton L. Saunders also of Surry; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Doris) Ginn of Surry; seven grandchildren and six great - grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She taught school in Surry and Bowdoinham. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 6, at the Jordan Funeral Home, at 2 pm with the Rev. Raymond Murchie of the Surry Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in the Cunningham Ridge Cemetery in Surry. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm
