     Regem Melech Cushing, son of Adam Cushing and Hannah Greenwood, was born on 2 December 1740 at Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.1

     Regem and Sara Farrar filed a marriage intention on 13 February 1768 at Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.2

     Regem died in July 1823 at Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts, at age 82. His death was from consumption and other complaints.3

     Ruth, married Jeremiah Mitchell circa 1823.6

     Ruth died on 6 November 18747,8 and was buried at Burgess Cemetery, Harrington, Washington, Maine.8

     Ruth and Jeremiah appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Harrington, Washington, Maine, enumerated 6 August 1850. Jeremiah was listed as a farmer. His real estate was valued at $1000.00. Their children, Simeon, Jotham Sewell and Violetta were listed as living with them.9

     Ruth and Jeremiah appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Harrington, Washington, Maine, enumerated 3 July 1860. Jeremiah was listed as a farmer. His real estate valued at $400.00 and personal property at $140.00. At this census, Lucretia Mitchell, 17 years old, was living with them. (See Memo). Their children, Lucretia were listed as living with them.10

     Ruth and Jeremiah appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Harrington, Washington, Maine, enumerated 8 June 1870. They were listed in the household of Asa and Leyda Eaton.11

     Susanna, at age 21, married James Blackwood Jr., son of James Blackwood and Hannah (?), on 15 December 1813.4,5

     She was probably the female age 30 to 40 listed in the household of her husband, James Blackwood Jr., in the 1830 Federal Census of Dennysville, Washington, Maine.6 She was probably the female age 40 to 50 listed in the household of her husband, James Blackwood Jr., in the 1840 Federal Census of Pembroke, Washington, Maine.7

     Susanna and James appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Pembroke, Washington, Maine, enumerated 29 August 1850. James was working as a farmer, his real estate valued at $900.00. Their children, Henry J., Emeline, Sarah and Daniel Webster were listed as living with them.8
