- DOVER-FOXCROFT Sept 15— Mr. and Mrs. Keith D. Knowlton announce the engagement of their daughter Margaret Elizabeth to John F. Carr of Chatham, Mass. Miss Knowton was graduated from Higgins Classical Institute at Charleston and attended Farmington State Teachers college. Mr .Carr is a graduate of Chatham high school and served in the Navy two years. He is employed by the Hathorne Inn at Chatham, Mass. An October wedding is planned.4
