Alden W. Lovejoy, husband of May Dudley
     Alden Wing Lovejoy, son of Nathan Phelps Lovejoy and Temperance Wing, was born on 21 July 1829 at Wayne, Kennebec, Maine. He was a musician and professor of music and once wrote (1894), 'I have this Spring made a violin out of wood that was a bureau beloging to Jonathan Lovejoy, grandfather's brother. It is very handsome and the finest tone of any that I have ever had in my hands. I am much pleased with it.3,4'

     Alden, son of Nathan Phelps Lovejoy and Temperance Wing, married May Dudley in 1858 at Worcester, Massachusetts.2

     Allen Perry Lovejoy, son of Nathan Phelps Lovejoy and Temperance Wing, was born on 20 March 1825 at Wayne, Kennebec, Maine. He was a prosperous lumber man in Janesville and held many offices of trust and honor in politics, including that of State Senator of Wisconsin. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, #3674.1,2

     Allen, at age 55, son of Nathan Phelps Lovejoy and Temperance Wing, married Julia Isabel Stow on 29 May 1880.3

     Allen Perry Lovejoy died on 18 March 1904 at age 78.2
