     Hester Lovejoy, son of John Lovejoy and Cecelia Bromall, was born on 20 April 1601.²

     Hester Lovejoy died on 18 September 1649 at age 48.²

     Hezekiah Lovejoy, son of Christopher Lovejoy and Sarah Russ, was born in October 1701 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.²

     Hezekiah, at age 20, son of Christopher Lovejoy and Sarah Russ, married Hannah Austin, daughter of Thomas Austin and Hannah Foster, on 16 July 1722 at Haverhill, Massachusetts, Hannah was Hezekiah's second cousin.³

     Hezekiah was of a man that loved a good time but was well disciplined for it. The Church, all powerful and unbending in those early days, punished him by either by deferring the baptism of his children or at best yielding only on his wife's account and baptizing them in her name as sponsor. This was the old fashioned hell fire prepared for and visited upon unchristened infants of the day. Hezekiah, it appears, went in rather a bit too strongly for the concoctions of molasses and rum and such missteps could not be condoned by the church. On on 4 January 1732.⁴

     Hezekiah Lovejoy died before 25 September 1751 at Essex, Massachusetts.¹

     Hezekiah Lovejoy, son of Jacob Lovejoy and Sally Rollins, was born on 18 March 1777.¹

     Hezekiah, at age 16, son of Jacob Lovejoy and Sally Rollins, married Hannah Atkins at age 20, daughter of Nathaniel Atkins and Elizabeth (Betty) Blackwell, on 9 January 1794 at Sterling, Kennebec, Maine.²

     Hezekiah, at age 72, son of Jacob Lovejoy and Sally Rollins, married Abiah Putnam on 6 July 1849 at Mi Rumford, Oxford, Maine.²

     Hezekiah Lovejoy died on 11 July 1865 at Peru, Oxford, Maine, at age 88.¹ and was buried at Bishop-Hammon Cemetery, Peru, Oxford, Maine.³

     Hezekiah Lovejoy died on 4 March 1722.¹
     Hezekiah Lovejoy, son of Hezekiah Lovejoy and Hannah Austin, was born in February 1722/23.²

     Capt Hezekiah Lovejoy Jr., son of Hezekiah Lovejoy and Hannah Austin, was born on 29 October 1729 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.^1,2

     Hezekiah, at age 21, son of Hezekiah Lovejoy and Hannah Austin, married Hannah Phelps at age 22, daughter of Edward Phelps and Sarah Andrews, on 9 April 1751 at Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.³

     Hezekiah was served in the Rhode Island campaign, 1778, as lieutenant and 1779 commanded a company in Col Moses Nichols' regiment. His son John turned out from Amherst at the Ticonderoga Alarm, 1777, under Capt. Stephen Peabody. in 1778.⁴

     Capt Hezekiah Lovejoy Jr. died on 1 April 1793 at Amherst, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, at age 63.⁵
