Ida Van Dyke, wife of Richard S. Vliet
     Ida Van Dyke, daughter of Abraham Van Dyke and Sarah Honeyman, was born on 17 April 1805.1,2

     Ida married Richard Sutton Vliet on 1 January 1830.1,3

     Ida died on 14 October 1866, at age 61,1,2,4 and was buried at Lamington Presbyterian Cemetery, Lamington, Somerset, New Jersey.5

     Ida and Richard appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Bedminster, Somerset, New Jersey, enumerated 7 August 1850. He was a farmer. His real estate valued at $14, 690. They had Simon Vliet and Richard Philhover as laborers. Their children, Sarah, William Blauvelt, Daniel G., Elizabeth, Garetta Van Dyke and Theodore F. and Van Dyke relatives, Abraham, Mary and Garetta (Aunt Charity) listed as living with them.6

     Ida and Richard appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Bedminster, Somerset, New Jersey, enumerated 4 October 1860. Richard, a farmer, now his real estate was valued at $20,000 and personal property at $5000.00. He had three farm workers.. Their children, Daniel G., Elizabeth and Garetta Van Dyke, and Ida's aunt, Garetta (Aunt Charity) were listed as living with them.7
