     Helen A. Van Riper was born circa 1833 at New York.2

     Helen married William Mott Raynor, son of Allen Raynor and Susan Mott, circa 1841.3

     Helen died on 13 October 1925,1 and was buried at Flatlands Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.1

     Upon her death,

Helen A. Raynor, who died October 13, 1925, left about $4,000 in personal property. The estate is to be equally divided among her three children, Sarah M. Huffmlre, of 3957 Flatlands avenue; Charles Raynor, of Bridgehampton, L. I., and Mary J. Tyndall, of 2957 Flatlands avenue.4

     Helen and William appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, enumerated 30 September 1850. William was working as a fisherman. Their children, Martin, Susan Ann, Frances Adelaide and George Riley were listed as living with them.5

     Helen and William appeared on the 1855 New York Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, enumerated June 1855, Their children, Martin, Susan Ann, George Riley, William H. and Sarah were listed as living with them.6

     Helen and William appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, enumerated 27 June 1860.. William was a fisherman. Their children, Martin, Susan Ann, George Riley, William H., Sarah and Frances were listed as living with them.7

     Helen and William appeared on the 1865 New York Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, enumerated 7 June 1865. William was working as a fisherman. He had a framed home, valued at $800.00. Their children, Susan Ann, George Riley, William H., Sarah, Frances, Fernando and Willet were listed as living with them.8

     Helen and William appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, enumerated 30 July 1870. William was a fisherman. His real estate and personal property, each valued at $1000.00. Their children, George Riley, Sarah, Frances, Fernando, Willet and Mary Jane were listed as living with them.9
