Stanton Evans Van Wie1

     Stanton Evans Van Wie was born in September 1894 at Palatine, Montgomery, New York.2,1

     Stanton, at age 32, married Anna Sue Mccartney at age 18, daughter of Ewell Constantine McCartney and Ida Myrtle Lancaster, on 15 November 1926, at Ellis, Texas.1

     Stanton died in April 1975, at Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona, at age 80,2 and was buried at Fort Plain Cemetery, Fort Plain, Montgomery, New York.2

     Stanton and Anna appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Mamaroneck, Westchester, New York, enumerated 19 April 1950. He was an account executive for an advertising agency. Their son, Robert S. was listed as living with them.3

Stanton Van Wie

Stanton E. Van Wie, 80, an advertising account agent, died Monday in his home, 3022 E. Yucca. Survivors include his wife, Susan; a son, Robert Stanton; two brothers; and three grandchildren. Private cremation was arranged by Arizona Burial Cremation Transportation Service.4
