     Elizabeth appeared on the 1915 New York Census of Hollis, Queens, New York, enumerated 1 June 1915. Thomas was working as a farmer. Their children, Alice Frances and Percy were listed as living with them.7

     Elizabeth and Thomas appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Jamaica, Queens, New York, enumerated 17 January 1920. Thomas was listed as a merchant for a garage business. Their children, Alice Frances and Percy were listed as living with them.8

     Elizabeth and Thomas appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Jamaica, Queens, New York, enumerated 23 April 1930. Thomas was listed as an auctioneer. He owned his home, valued at $7000.00. They had a radio set.9

     Elizabeth Brenker, and her husband, Thomas C. Van Dyke, appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Queens, Queens, New York in the household of their son-in-law, Hubert Bertram Geist and their daughter, Alice.10

     Elizabeth and Thomas appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Queens, Queens, New York, enumerated 3 April 1950. It appears, the Geist family are living with Thomas..11

- — Elizabeth G., on August 2 1958. Beloved mother of Alice F. Geist and Percy B. Van Dyke. Dear grandmother or Doris Large and Thomas Geist. Also survived by four great-grandchildren. Services Sunday, 4 PM at the Stutsman Funeral Home, 224-39 Jamaica Avenue, Queens Village, L. I. Funeral Monday 1:30 PM. Interment Flushing Cemetery.5

Levi N. Brewer, husband of Eliza A. Van Dyke
     Levi Nelson Brewer was born on 28 January 1850.2

     Levi married Eliza Ann Van Dyke, daughter of John Van Dyke and Margaret Hazelwood, on 14 March 1869.1

     Levi was
, son of Thomas and Mary (Hutton) Brewer, was born in Hurricane Precinct (now Union Twp) Cumberland County, Illinois January 28, 1850 and died March 4 1916.. He came to Prairie City (Toledo) in Sep. 1857, and this has been his residence ever since. He was married to Eliza A. VanDyke (daughter of John and Margaret (Hazelwood) VanDyke March 14, 1869. their children were Nellie (mrs. F.J. Heid) of Los Angeles; John of Jewett; Thomas Clinton died Jan. 14, 1893; Golden of San Francisco; Paul of Chicago; Peter of Decatur; Ruth of Decatur; Eliza A. died Feb. 10, 1902; Mollie, (now Mrs. George Sliger); Carrie (now Mrs. Smith Misner of Los Angeles); February 14, 1904 Levi married his 2nd wife Ellen, daughter of William and Caroline (McCann) Misner. All the children except Thomas survive. He has brothers James M. and Judge Walter and sisters Mollie Smith and Lucretia Brewer. He was admitted to the bar in 1876, and practiced law honestly and consciently for 40 years.1


     Levi died on 4 March 1916, at Sumpter, Cumberland, Illinois, at age 66,1,3 and was buried at Toledo Memorial Park, Toledo, Cumberland, Illinois.2
