     Catharine Emans, daughter of Andries Emans and Sarah (Saertje) Van Duyn, was born on 25 January 1756.1
     Catharine was baptized after 25 January 1756.1

     Catharine married Abraham Smalley, son of Andrew Smalley and Agnes Coyill, on 8 October 1772.1

     Catharine Emans left a will on 13 January 1830; She left her Family Bible to her oldest daughter Sarah, and her portrait to her youngest daughter Margaret. The Bible (as of the book writing) was in possession of Abner Smalley Couill, younger son of Sarah Couill and the portrait is in the possession of Franklin Langstaff, grandson of Margaret Blue.1
